Flamingo Mocktails: What is it?

Flamingo Mocktails, LLC was an idea that popped into my mind in October 2022. I'd always wanted my own business and it had to be something that people wanted and needed and would also help them to be healthier and change their lives without alcohol. Flamingo Mocktails, LLC was born. "Why a Flamingo?" Personally, I've always loved flamingos. They are a great pink color, tall, graceful and balanced. These are the elements I wanted to create in my life, although I can't change the tall part, I can pretend.

"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a simple step." -Lao Tzu

So my business has had many changes in just a few months. I originally wanted to have a non-alcoholic bar but when seeking advice from a few business consultants, it's better to start slowly. So the idea of a pop-up was created.
I liked the idea but felt it would take a lot of time just to get my name out and I wasn't sure I wanted to ask permission from different businesses if I could show up and try to sell my n/a beverages. Then I explored the idea of a food/drink truck or trailer. I did my research on this. Although many food trucks in the area are successful, the time and requirements it would take, along with the cost and potential mechanical problems, just seemed too risky. So I really had to think about it, pray about it, and ask the people closest to me, what I should do. More research helped me come to the conclusion of what was my purpose, what could I do to make Flamingo Mocktails successful and help others, and what is the best way to get there.
I got the answer through a Facebook group that shares their input on mocktails that are bought in stores or on the internet. Many people tried certain things and didn't know what to do with them, said they did not taste good, and were upset about the price. I decided then and there to open a non-alcoholic bar and include non-alcoholic beer, wine, and spirits from vendors to sell. This way people can taste and learn how to make the most out of their non-alcoholic experience.

Ideas are coming fast in my mind, my creativity is flowing and I can see it all in my future! Now the next step, FINANCING. A BIG THANK YOU to all those closest to me who've helped me come to this new step in my life. Alcoholism has affected my life and the lives of many, many people and I cannot wait to share my mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages to sample and sell. I'm excited about the future of Flamingo Mocktails!
